Go on then…

It’s happened season ended or not as bad as first feared.

Can be a psychological tactic to leak 9 months and then if only 6 months, doesn’t seem as bad if told 6 months to begin with.

But whatever, we need a solution and Pep will play one and not quite as we may expect.

So what do we have…

Kov and Gundo in a double pivot (most obvious)
Stones, Gvardiol, Nunes or Rico may all be options.

I’m sure it’s going round in his mind now and tomorrow he may try something.

I want to see if this works:
---------------Ederson
Lewis---Akanji---Dias---Gvardiol
‐----------------Stones
---------Bernardo----KDB/Foden
Savinho-----Haaland-----Grealish

I think Pep will play:
---------------Ederson
Lewis---Akanji---Dias---Gvardiol
-------------Kova/Gundo
-------Bernardo---Foden/KDB
Savinho-----Haaland-----Grealish

In big games, like Liverpool away in December, I think he'll play 2 of Stones, Kovacic and Gundogan.

In other games, like Arsenal away, he'll probably play 11 attackers as they struggle to get out of their own box.

2 CDMs big Ferna out of retirement. Vinny's not too busy either is he?

Kov Gundo seems too slow on paper. Unfortunately with Ake out too atm we might be a bit sparce at the back.

Nunes could fill a role since he's got pace.

Are there any like for likes with the kids?

When Bobb comes back we’ll use Bernardo in the deeper midfield role for the rest of the season
