Rodri - The 2024 Ballon d'Or Winner! (Pg 131)

Not widely reported but this is part of what Rodri said last night...

“A very special person, my agent Paulo, when you took me to matches, feeding my dreams. I also want to thank my teammates because without them I would not be here as football is a team game. It’s very special for me, Manchester City is the best club in the world, thanks to them things have been much easier. I want to thank Luis (De La Fuente) for trusting me"

Typical of the man, he clearly made a point of making that statement.

I’m still really angry at those bastards Madrid not turning up because one of their players didn’t get the nod .. What a set of self entitled cunts.. The press ain’t making much noise about it either ….
It's up to us to call them out and expose them for what many know they are.

Racist
Self Absorbed
State Supported
Classless

A massive photo of Rodri with the trophy is literally the leading story in bbc sport right now and was last night too.

Why do some people on here make stuff up to feel persecuted by the bbc??
Hardly think an actual screenshot from their website is making stuff up mate. Even the most unwilling media outlet would have to show a photo somewhere of the actual winner once. The point here is that, if you look at the BBC content, 90% of it is not about the only person it should be about, it's about Real Madrid, or the peripheral award winners.

The BBC are the main English media outlet, they should be beaming with pride that an English club player has won the award, especially as it so rarely happens, instead they seem reluctant to actually embrace this, the question is why?......I think we all know the answer. If the winner was Bellingham or say a rag player, every page of the BBC site would be trewn with content of the winner
