Got ya. It’s a very fair point. It’s why I don’t put too much faith in the report and why would we feel the need to tell Madrid, assume they were told the result as well if City were informed. Not for us to tell them.

No idea if true or not but I read something that Rodri wasn't originally going to travel because of the injury. City were then informed he'd won it, no point having a glitzy ceremony if the winner isn't in attendance.
