Kalvin Phillips was obviously a dramatic failure as a back up to Rodri, nunes and kovacic have been played in the Rodri hadn't been available, but neither cover the defence in the way Rodri does (impossible I know). I know we've managed up until now but surely Pep looks into the market over the summer. He previously spoke about finding a younger homegrown talent. Does this still apply?

Who would you realistically like to see come in?

Fernandinho's son.

Rodri is one of those players that are hard to replace with a direct like for like, he's a monster. Like Merlin before him there isn't anyone out there with his specific qualities that can be brought in.

Unless we have an academy player who can step up?
