He's OK not as cultured a foot as Phil Jones but we couldn't get him so we have to go for what we can get.Honestly never seen this guy play once, any good?

Absolute nonsense if anyone believes that.
The kit deal isn't holding anything up. Rodri's release clause activates on July 1 and we'll pay it shortly after, there's not much mystery behind this one. In a case like Angelino, where we're exercising our buyback in a relatively low stakes transfer? Sure, maybe hold off the extra week to put him in the Puma kit, but if there was something time sensitive theres no way which brand shirt they wear in the photoshoot would have any impact on football operations.
We’re possibly not paying more than the release clause, just a thought.Except for the reports that say we are paying above the release clause to pay over multiple years...meaning we can announce it now if true.
Well thats a fucking blow !!He's OK not as cultured a foot as Phil Jones but we couldn't get him so we have to go for what we can get.
Very well may do mate. They usually have the entire thing planned out well in advance hence when there’s an announcement, there’s the interview, photo shoot etc all released together. it’s rarely just announced when the contracts are signed unless it’s deadline day. I don’t claim to know when it will be people are paid a lot of money to figure that out I just know the one day it makes no sense to do it is kit launch day.
As we couldn't sign him until the 1 st anyway, he was always going to be in the new kit, whether it’ll be on the day or just after no idea, the only one they might hold back on for the new kit is Angelino sounds like that could be done but not announced. No, but it makes sense, imo to wait.
If he only had a brain.Nobody has actually said that though to be fair. Its called a strawman argument (and its not even a smart strawman).
