I confess I have never seen him play and know very little about him. However, I am absolutely delighted that we finally have some cover for Fernandinho. If what I have read on here and elsewhere is true, this guy sounds like the real deal and given his age we may have just bagged ourselves a real bargain.

It might take time for this guy to settle - so we’ll need to be patient - but he looks like he has the the game to be exceptional at the base of our midfield. Longer term he will bring a new dimension to that position. Good signing.
