If Spurs want him so badly, then they’ll pay the price, but they may not. If they shop elsewhere, then the club and player have to act professionally, mend the relationship and have the player performing. We’re already accommodating quite a few new players, so working with someone in their second year would be one less headache for the coaching staff, many of whom themselves are new.Don’t disagree and to be honest I’d be sorry to see Savinho leave as I do think he has a high ceiling, and his performances in the CWC - although a small sample- suggested that he’s adding some end product to his play.
I suppose it all depends on how determined he is to leave. If he wants out and has a club offering big money for him then it will be hard to keep him.
