Rodrygo

Don’t disagree and to be honest I’d be sorry to see Savinho leave as I do think he has a high ceiling, and his performances in the CWC - although a small sample- suggested that he’s adding some end product to his play.

I suppose it all depends on how determined he is to leave. If he wants out and has a club offering big money for him then it will be hard to keep him.
If Spurs want him so badly, then they’ll pay the price, but they may not. If they shop elsewhere, then the club and player have to act professionally, mend the relationship and have the player performing. We’re already accommodating quite a few new players, so working with someone in their second year would be one less headache for the coaching staff, many of whom themselves are new.

I do not want him, which normally means we are going to get him, he is a good player no doubt, but his wages and fee are not worth it, there will always be another, plus we do not know how he will adapt, Fati a similar standard of player never did.

There was some talk of Barcola being available earlier this summer. Never linked with us, though, as far as I know.
Dippers are interested in him, as well as Rodrygo and ofc Isak. They want everyone so that they don't depend on a ref and a 16yo anymore.

Being linked with hernandez from deportivo now as well.
Yeremay Hernandez is a serious talent. He was valued at €15m last season, but is now been touted at €50m. If Savinho's sold & Rodrygo's staying put, we could do a lot worse than this kid.

He's predominantly right footed but uses his left & knows where the back of the onion bag is too. He's 5ft 7", he scores 1 in 4 & hails from the same neck of the woods as David Silva.

The only issue is he plays mostly on the left & we need a competition/backup for Bobb on the right.

He does look a player to be fair.
