Cherki, Reijnders, Marmoush, Doku, Bobb , Savinho, plus Foden and Haaland. Not against Swapping Rodrygo for Savinho but we are hardly short of progressive players as it stands.
Heard it's 5 journalists running the acc. Haven't paid much attention but the name keeps coming up, most say they've been fairly reliable this window. Funny that account was once a bad joke.
I wanted Rodrygo when we brought Savihno in. Then we brought in Marmoush and Cherki. The value of Rodrygo isn't as great now as ot was last summer.
I just don't like the suddenness of all of this Savio, Rodrygo, Simon talk....

I’d love for someone to try and convert me into a Rodrygo super supporter
Logically I don’t see the hype in him anymore.
His numbers are no where near Prime Sterling, Sane, Mahrez. Which is what people want.
He’s got great work ethic, beautiful dribbling and technique but his fee doesn’t match his actual value on the pitch.
If he seriously look at his numbers. He last scored on the 19 of Jan in the league.
He’s never even beaten Savio best season who was 19/20 at the time.
Listening to a RM fan, people who have watched his every game since he signed. They will tell you his biggest problem is consistency. His best moments is when Vini is injured. The fact he doesn’t see himself as a RW is jarring to them because he’s played there for years. He is very hot and cold. He wants wages like Vini, Mbappe and co but he doesn’t produce as much as them.
100 mil euros. 86 mil pounds. 300k wages.
These are serious numbers. Superstar worthy.
Forget the numbers and the name. Let’s look on the drawing board.

I don’t see how we fit him in. He’s an inside forward that likes to drift centrally. Sounds awfully familiar to Marmoush. Who’s meant To be our g/a guy. The guy who knows how to score outside Haaland.
Now yes he’s going to the AFCON for a month but I don’t see how it works.
Off the ball Ait Nouri ends up playing LW and Nunes pushes up to allow Cherki to do his thing.
If he’s fine to play RW and play second fiddle then okay but wouldn’t you just go get a natural RW winger or better yet fix the more pressing issue … A RIGHT BACK ?
Either way. I have no idea what’s gonna happen and I can’t predict it either

Rodrygo has a lot in him and was always in the shadow of Vinicius, lately Bellingham and Mbappe too. he fucking killed us in 5 minutes at Bernabeu when we were much better in the tie.
to step out of the shadow and become a power house performer in PL for City and in CL, thats big motivation imo for someone like him. he would set up Haaland and can score on his own too.
also surprised he is just 24, had him as bit older.
there were rumours about this early on even in June, but then nothing happened for weeks. maybe now Xabi Alonso after a few weeks of CWC and pre season decided if he wants him around or not, maybe he wants to go wingback system and already have Vinicius to somehow use who is favourite of F. Perez.
expensive buy, brutal salary for sure, but we lose the salary of Grealish, KDB, Walker so far. also didnt pay off much bonuses last season, could be significant savings that way compared to 22-23 or 23-24.
Trafford, Cherki, it Nouri, doubt they are on elite salary, 100K maybe 150K. Reijders maybe 200K?
also McAtee, Savinho could offset salaries a bit.

His last goal in the league was on the 19th of Jan against Las Palmas.
He has never as many assists as Savio did in his best season when he was 19/20.

Some reasoned thoughts but in the end it comes down to who would you rather have Rodrygo or Savinho? 40+ G/A in CL at 24. That's not Savinho...
