My reservation about Rodrygo does not concern his abilities as a footballer. They are beyond question. I just wonder whether the environment he's been at in Madrid, with that stupid Galactico nonsense that surrounds them, is propitious to the atmosphere he'll find in the dressing room and on the training pitch.
City doesn't do “stars”, especially not under Pep. Just great team players.
If he can buy into that, fine. Let's go for him. A front line of Marmoush, Rodrygo, Haaland, with Foden and Cherki sitting just behind them, is positively ferocious.
