We already have players who could play wide and score around 8 a season.
We are wasting money on just good players, not top players.

We are just going down the same road as the Rags did when their era ended…. big names, big money who are other teams cast offs or young English talent who aren’t good enough.

D.Costa, Rodrygo, Livramento, Gibbs-White, Cambiasso, Etc… it’s just average to good replacing the world class we once had.

This makes a lot of sense for us. He can play about four positions in the team, both flanks, 10 and false 9/striker. No brainer imo. Savio and him could form a partnership too. We have to try and land this, even if it means someone else is sacrificed in this squad trimming.

His 24/25 goals include goals against big teams like Alaves Rayo Espanyol Las Palmas Sevilla
Assists are against same too in same match + 1 against Valladoid

Real Madrid fans claim him once in a dozen match player and are more than happy to see his back and sell him off at high price to find their purchases

He doesn’t want to play anywhere other than Lw that was his problem at Real Madrid

Here you say he can play anywhere when he doesn’t want to

They have same problem as City too many players for left side and they are getting rid of Rodrigo for very reason

I lived in Madrid for a while and I know quite a few Real Madrid fans. They'd be happy for us to take him off their hands. They say he's talented but quite timid on the pitch and often goes missing. According to them he has 1 goal and 1 assist in his last 22 games (no idea if that is true or not).

They did say though that he's been played on the right and he's better on the left but they have cry baby and Mbappe that also want to play on the left and so he doesn't get much of a look in on that side.

Real fans are typically quite fickle though and quick to turn on out of form players. I haven't seen him play much recently to form a strong opinion one way or the other.

about 9 starts i think he blanked in, been out the squad for the last month.

based on pure numbers in Bobbs case, he's low man on the totem pole until he gets playing again.
 
Wouldn't be overly enthused but he does have a good work rate and attitude so if he's the man I'm gonna get behind him and hope he takes his game to the next level with more responsibility.

Yeah it’s going to all depend on the shape and how Pep decides to play Marmoush.

With Jack clearly going it seems like a great opportunity though.

Currently it’s Doku/Jack/Marmoush/Savio/Bobb/Foden
McAtee/Bernie that all play wide.

I think we will be fine.

We don’t have a backup striker because that’s Marmoush, Bobb false 9 as well. There’s room for Rodrygo if we sell Jack, McAtee and potentially Bernie.
