I'm not sure on him either, but after watching Doku again today, could he honestly be any worse. It's almost a skill in itself how he always gets the final ball wrong, I'd be impressed if it didn't drive me insane. If this lad gets into the positions Doku does and gets the final ball right 50% of the time, he'd be a marked improvement on Doku.

Cannot see Doku lasting if he comes in.

Because currently, as we just saw in this Fulham game, playing Marmoush and Doku in the same game doesn't work imo.

You play only 1, now maybe it would been worked if Marmoush played as striker, but buying Rodrygo makes alot more sense in replacing Doku.

Because other than the obvious fact that both Marmoush and Rodrygo can rotate as a left forward, which Doku could do for us currently.

I think Rodrygo is more suited as a false 9 than Marmoush, Marmoush just has this akward 1st touch that isn't as elite as I thought, and he so prefers running off the left once he already has the ball.

Rodrygo has an insane 1st touch, so while he can play LW in place of Marmoush, he can easily rest Haaland as well and play with Marmoush.

Rodrygo suits us better than Doku in this sense.
 
We selling Marmoush then , because RW doesn't work and he will not be a back up for Big Erl, sooner spend the money on Livramento and Nouri, we have a great left side attacking option, why are we fuckin about with it.

Doku leaves over Marmoush easily in this scenario.

Rodrygo is a great backup to Big Erl, he is probably the best player suited to the false 9 role, better than even Marmoush at that.

We could still buy the fullback necessary, it would simply mean more of the older players have to leave.

Pep tends to never play people where they want if they are flexible if they like it or not
 
Would make very little sense to sign a player who is older, and has a lower ceiling than two of our current wingers. Typical signing you would expect United to make.
 
He’s very talented but I think the average football fan assumes he’s better than he is. ‘Brazilian winger, very pacy, he must be great.’

He’s very good but I don’t think he’d come into our team and immediately be one of the best players.

True he wants out because he's not playing but he's basically been pushed out to make way for cunts like Mbappe.

Imagine having to listen to him and Vini everyday.

Lower ceiling? And older? He is 24. Still a baby.

Savio the jury is still out, but for me Doku will never ever reach those statistics regularly.

He hasn't got the brain and instinct in the final third to get those numbers

Rodrygo has had near 25 goal contributions in a year where he has been average not a regular and prior to that he has had 2 near consecutive 30 goal contributions in previous years.

He walks into every team in this league.

We may have an issue here. Similar to Alvarez, in terms of where does Marmoush play. Dont see Marmoush as a wide player like some seem too. All his goals/best play has come from the central area. But we have Haaland there already….
