Rodrygo



"Arsenal has officially entered the race for Rodrygo, who, after having a deal in place with City, has been stalled for 4 weeks, awaiting new developments from Manchester."

From all these reports it seems that we have a deal with him but we can't sign him until someone goes?

I don't believe we're in for him, it's just been used to drum up interest in him.

Would need to be a few more than someone going.

Its doable, we'd have to lose at least 2 imo for this, as well as him being ok with being used in any positions and as a sub.

If we wanted it 4 weeks ago, and made the deal not sure why they would put a pin in it. We'd have known then who has to go, unless they just paused all outgoings till CWC is over and they can talk to players.

Paper talk i expect but still keeps the chat interesting this morning,.

I don't know how true it is but Martin from the Mancunian Way gets some good info as has been proven this window, and he said a few weeks back he has been told Viana doesn't rate Doku.
 
The article states that City is willing to give him the LW spot, and Madrid will even accept 80-85m Euro + add-ons. It would pose more questions than answers, one being where Marmoush would be playing, as he seems to like cutting in from the left and has been less effective playing from the right.

Yawn. Never been so obvious that it’s agent talk. You’d think they’d mix things up a bit and use a different club.
