Rodrygo

Didn’t play a single minute in today’s game where PSG destroyed them. He’s so gone. All 5 subs used. One of them including a fossilised Modric.

He will likely join Arsenal.

Hate to see it. I wish we could’ve accommodated him. But it’s just impossible rn.

Praying that Doku x Savio reach their true potential and win us trophies. It would really suck if they don’t this season.

Its all about Europe..we over egg the appeal of the prem.. remember we have lots of midweek aways in winter to the likes of Burnley etc..hardly the same appeal as being with a PSG side beating all in Europe

Despite being a good player don’t think he would be much of an improvement. There is a reason for him being so low in Madrid’s pecking order.
 
Would Arsenal want him and Madueke? They are trying to progress the latter (as well as Eze), so not sure he'd be Arsenal bound
 
if he leave, it will be either for City or Liverpool if Liverpool decide to sell Diaz

You'd want to bin off 3 players for one?

Doku outperformed him in combined goals & assists per 90 and Savinho did in expected goals & assists - where he actually outperformed his Girona season (during which he got more goals & assists than Rodrygo).

Rodrygo is a good player but he's not a gamebreaker and I definitely wouldn't be on board with binning off 3, younger, talented players for him.

Some people are blind they want him because he's at Madrid that's all.

Good player but I honestly don't think he'd improve us that much and he's certainly not what we require at.

Hes literally miles better than the 3 i just said. And i wouldnt be binning off three Id be loaning 2 and selling Doku

Agreed.

Personally I don't think Savinho will cut it with us, I'd be more optimistic about Doku given the end of the season he had with us, He came up with big moments for us although the jury is out on both players.

I'd love to see Oscar Bobb getting more game time I think he has all the tools to get himself a regular starting position.

I'm with you on Rodrygo, I genuinely don't think he would strengthen us that much, He's another headless chicken.

Talking about wingers, I was scrolling through YouTube yesterday and came across Mahrez best bits at City and ended up watching that, What a player he was for us! The trouble now for alot of our wingers is they are being compared to the likes of Mahrez and not coming close as he was such a huge talent.
