Yes I remember the pk. I knew no chance of Eddie saving. Much as I loathe Dean Henderson his ability to save a penalty has won Palace two pieces of silverware ( I'll ignore the fact he should have had a red in the cup final). Point being a goal who saves penalties is worth a couple of points a season. Or a place in a cup final.Injury time. The game then went to extra time and Benzema(I think) scored a penalty

Doku is great until the last thing he does… the final pass, cross or shot he pulls off is often woeful (although Haaland doesn’t help sometimes just stood completely still in the box or when attacks break he doesn’t make a run from outside the box). But Doku one of the best players in the world at getting past his man.
There’s a very good player in there if he can improve the last thing he does.
Savinho is already better than Doku at the final pass or cross. With 13 assists in all competitions last season, 10 in the PL, you can see that the quality is already there at 21. Where he lacks quality is his shooting (although his goal in the CWC was a beauty!).
There’s a potentially top class player there if he can improve his shooting.
Rodrygo has never managed 13 assists in all competitions in a season nor 10 assists in the league, in his career so far, and he’s three years older than Savinho. He’s more of a goalscorer but not exactly prolific for the price we’d be paying.
Yeah agree in part but stat wise Rodrygo is in the Mahres bracket utter class better than Savino at the moment maybe we want a player who can deliver now? Maybe Savino can deliver this season? I wouldn’t want Savino to go just because spurs play him on the left and how Frank plays football he could be quality for them! That’s football though…

Pep wants him. That Maria , Madrid media and now Fabrizio have all said Peps obsessed with Rodrygo and he's the one who's pushing hard for him.

Don’t want Savino to go because spurs play play him on the left think he could explode but seems we going for a proven player for now and his stats are better than some think! They are Mahres comparisons! Also a player who does well in big games in Europe! We can be sad not happy Savino going but we shouldn’t look at Rodrygo coming as a negative! Why do we always do this dance?

But 6g and 6a in 30 games last year and 10g 5a the year before would be considered pretty average for a Madrid forward you could argue.
If he was putting up those numbers for Celta Vigo, would this forum be asking to spend 80m on him?
