I know it's not popular, but I thought he was the best Bond. Nowt on last night and ended up watching Moonraker on ITV3. Cheesy as fuck. Moore with his corset on delivering cheesy lines and copping off with birds young enough to be his daughter. Racial and national stereotype villains (it was a garlic munching onion wearing frog last night and a martial arts jap). Clearly visible stuntmen doing the dangerous shots and Bond having Miss Moneypenny hanging off his cock. Stuffy old grey three piece suits playing government and Martinis on tap.

Bond is a ridiculous character who shouldn't be taken seriously and the actor who plays him up for the comic book hero he his should be given the accolade as best Bond.

I have to agree, though most people wouldn't. Always remembered by dad taking me to see Live and Let Die when I was 10. I was hooked
 
I always remember going to see Live and Let Die in the cinema in Hyde when it came out in summer of 73 (I think). The speedboat chase was brilliant and t'was the best Bond film I'd ever seen. Having read the book, there was credit paid to Fleming by the scriptwriters.

That being said, I was an impressionable teenager and there had been quite a lull in the franchise up to that point.

Watching it now, it is cringe-worthy and Moore's films went downhill after that.

No comparison to Dalton's two and Craig's quartet.
 
Because he’s the only Bond I’ve seen at the cinema ( Romiley Forum - Live & Let Die ) he’s is defo my favourite.
