Roger Moore as James Bond.

Still remember the gasps and then applause in the cinema when the parachute opened at the start of The Spy Who Loved Me.

Not my favorite Bond, but three of his films were good capers.

Yeah, that film in particular looked gorgeous didn’t it, and the gadgets were fab too. Curt Jurgens, Richard Kiel, and er, Barbara Bach all helped matters too.

You could hear the collective dropping of wooden lollysticks and ice cream spoons when the car turned into a submarine. You just couldn’t ever get that level of collective surprise again.

But who was the best Bond girl? That's a tougher one. I mean you've got pussy Galore, plenty O'toole, Holly Goodhead and Xenia Onatopp for starters.

Am I having Deja vu.

Didn't we have this thread in may or did I dream it?

Anyway answer still the same in order of best to worst

Dalton
Connery
Lazenby

Been watching the Bond films on Blu Ray during lockdown. I was surprised how well the first five Connery films have stood the test of time. The later Moore ones were certainly of their time and are cringeworthy in places.
Would have loved to have seen Dalton do OHMSS. In my opinion Dalton was the Best actor to capture the Fleming Bond by far and for me OHMSS wins best plot, best Bond girl, and best soundtrack

I agree with your order except I can’t remember Bronson doing one ;-)
