I’m saying it is relevant to establish whether you have a point where you’d think that’s gone too far enough is enough! Or would you just say i’ll support my club no matter what they do along the way?

Neither Barcelona nor Real Madrid have any issues with away fans sitting in their home ends, bar the Ultra sections behind the goal.

And then the penny dropped for Barcelona

Barcelona President Joan Laporta said he was "embarrassed and ashamed" after a reported 30,000 Eintracht Frankfurt fans made it into the Camp Nou for Thursday's Europa League quarter-final despite away fans only being allocated 5,000 tickets.

"Frankly what happened today makes me feel embarrassed and ashamed. There were many fans of the other team and not many of ours," Laporta told Barca TV.

"What we can avoid are certain situations but as of now, we will have to be much more strict. We can't allow these situations to happen."

Coach Xavi Hernandez called the situation a "miscalculation" and said it did not help his side, who suffered their first defeat in 16 matches in all competitions.

"I've tried to tell the players that the important thing is what happens on the pitch, but logically this could have affected us. It's very clear," Xavi told a news conference.

How you manage to save up for your tickets is your business, the point is you can do it and clearly with little impact otherwise you would be with the majority unhappy at our pricing. Look - stop being personal. I'm not 'crying' about presumptions - don't even know what you mean by that. I have answered the points that aren't personal. I am waiting for PB to provide the information on how bad our club is compared to all the other successful clubs. You need to accept that fans can disagree without writing a dissertation on why they disagree
And regarding your post above - I would say that every football club in the country has fans that fit your description of being unable to take their kids to games etc. All I am asking is - are City any different from other successful clubs?

At this point in time, I doubt that the club will do away with season tickets - which is, I believe, what you asked me. therefore I don't think its a relevant question
 
Pep has given the protest his endorsement. He didn't duck the question. What more do the fans against the protest want?

Why are you so sensitive? You want comparisons with other clubs, yet originally stated you don't care about other clubs fans gripes etc? Which is it.

Ignore other clubs, look at our working class club. City are different because they have stopped future season tickets despite an extension. City are different because I am pretty sure not every club releases 4 kits a season. Fans can disagree, what I refuse to accept is anybody disagreeing passionately on a subject, if it doesn't have any impact on them. Clubs across the country probably have similar complaints to us I am sure, does that make it right or should football fans unite and say enough is enough as we did with the super league. You could be a politician. You answer nothing and swerve and dodge somebody else asked what has to happen for you to be unhappy and you can't eve answer that. Leave this to fans it concerns. Enjoy your season ticket.

If you listen again he sort of says that he is glad that the fans are not passive but he also appreciates the clubs point of view. He actually gave and excellent answer, he knew what the alleged media personage was after, rather along the lines of a politician. He agreed with the fans and the club.

Yes, he sees it from both sides.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is asked whether he has a specific message to fans planning on staying outside the ground for the first nine minutes of Wednesday's game at home to Leicester.

"No, not specifically. As I said before, they can express freely what they want and the club has made its arguments and can also express. I prefer that than them being passive.

"The club has to be active in many departments and the decisions have been made. The club has to take it for the benefit of the club. The club don't take it for granted.

"We listen to both sides and hopefully the people can be convinced."

The trouble with you is that you have to make personal attacks on folk that disagree with your views (& that’s what they are). If I disagree you say I am disagreeing “passionately”

I’m not - I really don’t care what you think of me because if I did I’d being saying “yes sir” “no sir” to all your comments. People who disagree with the protestors on here are VILIFIED

But as you say yourself - you’re only “pretty sure” about this comment. So, why should I agree with anything else you use as “facts”

I have no issue with you protesting about tickets by staying on the concourse for 9 minutes (in the assumption you are going to the game)

I DO have issues with you making personal comments and assumptions about me because I disagree with your statements & comparisons of City v other successful clubs.

However, rest assured - nothing you say upsets me. But whatever I say seems to upset & annoy you.

Only outcome will be that whoever's egotistical idea it was can say "that was my idea, look some people did what I said".

Oh also, the rag papers might pick up on it but report it as how even city fans don't like the Arabs. Just what we need with the 115 announcement due imminently.

How about just turn up and stay to the end, support your team and actually make some fucking noise rather than blaming tourists for a bad atmosphere.

Like I keep saying, it’s not been pointless because even just the talk of it before it even happened made the back page of the papers at the weekend and it’s been on national radio.

How many other fan protests have made the back page or national radio, before they’ve even happened?

And if it doesn’t have a big impact tomorrow at the game itself, we’ll do something different when the club come out and increase ticket prices for next season, and we’ll do another when next season there’s even more tourists with no membership getting tickets ahead of proper Blues and fans of the opposition being cunts in our stands.

And if they don’t work, we’ll do something else after that and something else after that.

Time for sitting on our hands and doing fuck all is over.
