Just my opinion, ButMaybe it is only a start, but as @Corky posted earlier a list of what different fans don't like doesn't help.People need to know exactly what is wanted from the club a realistic list that the club may talk about and accept, not just 'we want out City back' slogans that mean different things to different fans.
A clear statement fans can either support or not.
A simple solution to the problem??This is gonna piss me off no end cos whilst I'll be in my seat enjoying the game, you twats are going to block my view and I'll be up and down like a fuckin yo-yo as you're getting to your seats.
Think the date has been set now.Just my opinion, But
I think lots of clear fan statements have been put to the club by the Official Fan Groups over the last few years??
Including an official statement supported by all, very recently, last 6 weeks? Which has yet to receive a response from the club yet??
Which covered many fans grievances!!!
Date of meeting with club to discuss this letter further, is yet to be confirmed, by the Club, I believe??
But in the meantime, the club has been able to find the time to agree another resale ticket agreement with a 9th reseller!!
Which may highlight where there priorities lie and why the Fans who can or want to, should start the protest NOW!!
Because tomorrow may never come!!?? :0(
I'll have a pound on that. 6.5k under capacity. And I bet nearly as many again simply won't turn up without listing their tickets.
If we’re 3-0 up by then we could do the PoznanSo has the idea of turning our backs to the pitch for 60 seconds on the 9th minute been kicked into touch?
Only 3 up? ; )If we’re 3-0 up by then we could do the Poznan
I am not protesting about a 9th ticket reselling arrangement especially as it concerns hospitality seats. It's just a silly point to fix a battle about. The protecting the core fans has also been turned into a traditional fans vs tourists argument by some fans which has alienated as much as ticket reselling.Just my opinion, But

Thanks for taking the time to reply. The club have been sent a letter that they haven’t yet responded to. I will await that response knowing that this very week Danny Wilson will be asked direct questions about such matters during at least one OSC meeting that I am aware of.
He will undoubtedly be feeding back up the food chain and that’s where I am hoping dialogue, discussion and action will lead to positive change.
I will await the responses that I am naive, gullible etc but this is the way I personally see appropriate to act, at this moment in time. That’s not to say my opinion won’t change.
I don’t see your question as criticism and as I alluded to in my earlier post, you and everyone else are entitled to do whatever you think is the right thing to do. At this current time, I want to support the team and not let any issues I may have with the club potentially cause a distraction to the players or our manager.
He’s apparently at Glossop supporters club tonight mate .i wouldn’t expect any direct questions to be honest though. The club have been sent a letter that they haven’t yet responded to. The battle should be on ticket pricing. That point has been made repeatedly but is being ignored so I am ignoring this protest. I don't take lightly to boycotting City, and if I did it it would have to be something really important.

It has been communicated all over the web, and on Talk Sport as a 9 minute protest about the 9 ticket resellers with the straw that has broken the camels back the decision to make hospitality tickets available on Viagogo’s platform.I’m all in favour of an organised protest against some of the club’s actions regarding ticketing recently, and will probably participate. Does feel a little bit rushed and ill-thought out to me though if I’m being honest. The impact will be minimal imo just because many people turn up late to midweek games anyway due to work/traffic, and it’s a game that will be relatively poorly attended. It’s not a high profile game and whilst I get the significance of 9 minutes, it doesn’t feel like a big enough statement. Also don’t feel like it’s been communicated particularly well either. Hope I’m wrong, but guess we’ll find out soon enough.
Dante Friend used core fan groups on TalkSport. It's divisive. Season ticket prices and availability is a much better issue to protest about. You lost me at "Traditional fans" shit wording really isn't it?
Don't listen to the noise coming from club appologists (and possibly staff) on here clouding the issue as only about Viagogo and listen to the groups organising it.While the issue has value. For me the true issues of ticket prices and the availablity of new season tickets is points we need action on. So I'm in two minds as if I will take part.
You have been very disingenuous from the start of this thread abuut this protest, and seem to keep trying to find reasons to dismiss it as pointless, stupid, wasteful. It has been communicated all over the web, and on Talk Sport as a 9 minute protest about the 9 ticket resellers with the straw that has broken the camels back the decision to make hospitality tickets available on Viagogo’s platform.
I think City fan groups are a little stupid to call for a 9 minute boycott of a City game over this matter. I had assumed it was about ticket pricing. It isn't, at least not directly, and I don't boycott a City match on the basis of an indirect issue.
Its the groups organising it that have clouded the issue with the Vianoshow , and the 9 minutes for a 9th ticket partner stuff, even the mail back page made it about Viagogo, barely mentioning any other issues. That’t whats confused it all.Don't listen to the noise coming from club appologists (and possibly staff) on here clouding the issue as only about Viagogo and listen to the groups organising it.
It is about ticket pricing, both season card and matchday,
It is about a new stand, an increased capacity yet a stagnation in SC numberS
It is about, fans being banned or penalised for selling their ticket on at FACE VALUE or giving to a mate and not using the club (who would sell through their partners for PROFIT)
It is about 2nd and 3rd party sellers havimg more and more access to home.amd away tickets.
It is abput the clubs arrogance in not responding to fans groups
The whole ticket issue is wide ranging, not one issue, there have been stop exploiting protests all seaason, then the city matters members strike, the clubs response was to troll us with a viagogo deal, of cpurse it was going to end up pissing off many and being it to a head, but all the above are being protested not just this deal
