Surely Silva won't be just thrown straight into the team, he's been out for weeks, he will need to be eased into it. If I knew for fact he wouldn't get injured again I would of course start him, but considering I don't know, I would have him on the bench and play for the last 20 minutes.
I'll be very surprised if he starts, we have plenty of options in midfield and attacking midfield, if we need him to force a result then bring him on, but I can't see him starting, I expect he'll feature though, but 15-20 minutes at most.

It's imperative we don't lose so 451for me.

Hart

Zab
Kompany
MDM
Clichy

Fernando
Fernandinho
Lampard
Milner
Nasri

Dzeko

That midfield 5 is solid as fuck.

Bench would include the impact players - silva, jovetic, navas and Kolarov if we're chasing the game.

I think we'll do it.

Think yaya is available for this one. Uefa website does not say he is suspended.

UEFA bookings pdf showed that UEFA extended his ban, which means he is suspended for 2 more games in CL.

So he is out for Roma and if we get through to the last 16 he will be out for the 1st leg of that game.

Yep. Well atleast he is fresh for Leicester away..

I'm hoping for a proper performance with no silly mistakes, and what will be will be.

But perhaps more importantly, I want our blues who are traveling to come home safe.

no qualms about our performance, its the referee that I worry about.

confident that whatever team we field , we should be good enough , but this game will be decided by the officials , i can see Roma backed by a capacity , partisan crowd getting all the decisions

We're really up against it in this one missing over half our team and with no fit strikers.

Jovetic and Dzeko will probably play 45 minutes each.

On the plus side, Fernandinho, Fernando, Mangala, and Kompany (if he makes it) are an immense defence, and a score draw will very likely be enough

Nasri is really on his game, and Navas can threaten anyone.
