Romance

My girlfriend was ill recently and said she just couldn't muster the energy to get to the shops and said just fancied some fresh orange - I couldn't do anything there and then (about 9pm) as I had my little girl tucked up in bed. So the following morning I called round to hers and left a coolbox with some freshly chopped melon, strawberries and kiwi in a container, a yoghurt, some fresh orange juice and a danish pastry on her back step along with some flowers. I text her and said when she woke up to go to the back door and open it.

She said it was the lovliest thing anyone had ever done and I was adorable :-D

Made it all worth while.

So basically what you are saying is packing some fruit and depositing your yoghurt in her back door is the essence of romance.

Works for me:)

Anniversary today, 8 long years, so the card was waiting this morning for her, took the time to send
flowers to her works ( the robbing bastards ) and taking her for a meal this evening..all heart me.

her answer to the flowers was " they are lovely love but you should of gone to tescos for a bunch
at a fiver as they must of cost you".
now i'm not all that romantic but putting in the effort for a change just made me a little miffed.
oh well it's tuesday so i'm off to play darts with the lads after the meal and bollocks to her.

Get yourself a bit of loving on the side. That'll teach her.

With all that quality product, you're lucky she didn't get her back door smashed in.

Came home from hospital with our new born baby girl and grabbed the cd remote I'd left by the door - hit play and this came on as we walked into the lounge with her.

Bit of dust blew out of the fan vents straight in my eye when I played that again.
