We're looking at visiting Romania for a city break soon, anyone got any experience of Cluj-Napoca? Its one of the only places we can fly to in Romania from Liverpool or Manchester, some of it looks quite old school soviot block and others looks nice.

Any recomendations? Great place? Avoid?

Only been to Bucharest(last week)and was very impressed by the people, food, drink, weather, prices and of course the stadium.
Would definitely go back, just a ball ache to get to from Manc.

I believe that Luton is the cheapest airport to fly from. I fancy going to Constanta, their main holiday resort but package holidays are quite expensive as it's not a popular holiday destination for Brits. Fascinating country, stunning scenery, and some beautiful women there. It's deffo on my "to do" list.

Went to Timisoara back in 2010.
The centre was very nice but not great outside of the very very centre.
Dirt cheap.

The women are stunning if you're a single man going over there.
Certainly a country worthy of further exploration
