is it in English?

It's in Italian with English subtitles.

Honestly, I can't recommend it enough. I don't normally get into series that much (was never one for 24, CSI, Sopranos etc) but this has had me hooked from the start. I think it might be because the subtitles make you concentrate that little bit harder so you are more drawn in - almost like reading the book at the same time if you see what I mean?

And all based on a true story too!

Saw the film which was OK. Not seen the series, I think it's a spin off from the film isn't it?

It is mate. Not seen the film yet but the tv series, considering it is tv, is so excellently put together and brilliantly paced as to be compelling (imho of course!).

Kind of don't want to see the film until I've seen the full series on the off chance it spoils the storyline.

I've seen one episode, it is good but subtitles require 100% concentration and I'm a multi-tasker which hinders my viewing experience somewhat. I'll wait for the dubbed version, hopefully with Ray Winstone and Grandpa from the Dolmio Ad doing the voice overs.
