Rooney for England

I called him a useless fat **** last night, and my mrs(rag) immediately sprung to his defence. "Look at the sweat he's worked up, he's the only one trying"
I had to point out that the fat **** is two stone overweight, of course he's sweating.

What's farcical is that Rooney, who hasn't really performed for England in a long, long time, has scored 38 goals, and is just 11 behind the ticket tout. With the likes of San Marino, Estonia and Lithuania in our Euro 2016 qualifying group, and Rooney only being 28, and all our strikers being shit, he's got a very real chance of being England's all time record goalscorer!

Engerland fans get used to him being team captain after Gerrard finishes in the summer.

FA proving it's all about brands more than success again.

Ive been looking at the odds for the World Cup, England appear to be at best 33-1 across the board of bookies, wouldn't predict Rooney to be our top scorer, I suppose Sturridge could be the one to top score, we'll see anyway, focus at the moment on Sundays game, one step nearer the dream season !! any W, London Fans reading this go to the George in Twickenham if you can, and only 20 mins by fast train from W'Loo. a few of us in there

We seem like we might be making the same mistake we made with Lampard and Gerrard with Rooney and Sturridge. Yesterday was a disaster, but might give it a couple more games to see how it goes. It's a shame we don't have more time to experiment. It might be better to play Lallana and Sterling with just one of Rooney and Sturridge.

Rooney was poor yesterday, but at the moment if it came down to a choice betwen the two, then Sturridge would be on the bench for me.
