If this deal with Rooney did come about,with only 18 months to go on his contract,united can't be expecting mega-bucks,less the everton sell-on clause.So,when do the united bond holders and PIK note holders start to worry about getting their money back.the "owners" would have to dip into the "money in the bank" that Gill keeps refering to,making payments of the interest more difficult.Things could go to rat shit pretty quick.

Having weighed up all the pros and cons of signing Rooney. I've reached the conclusion that we should definitely sign him. The piss-taking opportunities would be endless. Surely this would be the funniest signing in football history.
