Rooney or Bale

Don't think this is a realistic question just now. If it was I would go for Bale. Believe would fit in better to our squad.

wait for this....i have always said i'd buy rooney before messi and i stand by that.
nobody could guarantee messi doing it in the prem, you'd think so but you never can tell, would he settle etc. rooney is nailed on success, every aspect of his game is top notch.

whatever club gets him are very lucky indeed.

Totally agree!
Some people cant look past the fact he plays for the scum or the run of bad form he is on........ No doubt Rooney is absolute class and on form is unplayable. He also has a fantastic workrate like Tevez - would choose him over Torres anyday as he works harder for the team.

As for Bale, totally different player and position so not really a proper question, as someone said its like saying Bale or Reina....different positions and totally incomparable. Would this thread have started if Bale didnt score a hat-trick last night??
