This.

Those saying he wouldn't fit in need to take off their blue specs.
Those that are saying we should sign him however need to put then back on again!!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ so what you saying ??

That he's a good player and would fit in just fine but he's a horrible rag bastard and a thick scouse twat that as City fans we should all want no-where near our club.

I,d have him here..for the good of the club... sometimes you have to bite yer lip and get on with things...

Well done. You have selected option number 2.

Re: Rooney

Him and aguero up front would be deadly; we'll be scoring goals for fun and we would definitely win 2 or more trophies if this was to happen

That will put a strain on there wage limit!!!!!!!
Can you really see soriano sanctioning a 250k a week deal to bring him here then. Thought our policy was a relatively low wage structure, topped up with high, success related, bonuses these days

Busted flush, for me, these days anyway, so question doesn't apply

I agree. I'm sure the powers at be at City (should they be interested)won't have any problems with his character or his personal failings they will be looking at this purely from a footballing perspective.
100 goals in 164 games in the last 4 seasons is a decent return and he has more to his game than goals. Some argue he might be past his best but I thought that about RVP last summer and Rooney's only 27 - I suspect he will want to stay in England and I can only see us or Chelsea affording him.
I'm not disagreeing that he's an odious twat but I will get over that if he bangs in 20 for us next season - particularly if a couple of them were at Old Trafford.
