Rooney

The argument about 'abuse' doesn't hold water. Robbie Savage on Radio5 pointed out that no matter where Rooney went he would get abuse for a whole range of reasons. I would list the following: shit performances in the World Cup, Scouse Git, traitor to the EFC cause, a legend among the ranks of amoral pro footballers, little fat bald git, slagging off England fans in WC, and on and on and on. Perhaps Ferguson has come up with the plan of not playing him at any of the grounds where he thinks he will be subject to abuse. Apart from Goodison Park and Anfield, CoMS and Bloomfield Road, The Dirty Wanker Stadium and The Reebok, Ewood Park and Villa Park, St. Andrews and The Hawthorns, The Bridge, the Lane and The Emirates, Craven Cottage, St. James's Park and Upton Park, Molyneux and The Stadium of Light, there's only The Swamp where he might be assured of an abuse-free welcome.

No way!... we've shunned Ricky Hatton, so same thing applies to Rooney. Unless the price was bargain basement and Cook could market him with an image other than a clean living one. (for arguments sake) Don't know how much he's knocked off his saleable asset now.

Snorting cocaine on film and shagging a few birds whilst you're married are two very different things - to start with, one of them is illegal. In France or Italy, the general view would be that Coleen has to put more effort in, rather than vilifying Rooney for banging a couple of whores, which would be seen on the Continent as something akin to taking a shit.

That said, would I have him? The answer is probably yes, just to see the reaction of United fans as they eventually realise that the Blue Juggernaut is sticking it's big, fat, oil rig shaped cock up their red arses.

Yup, it looks like their last cash cow has been placed in the shop window, alright. That debt must be really starting to bite.
Personally, I'm looking forward to hearing Paddy Crerand go into denial about the sale, ten minutes after the deal is done.

Mourinho will not touch Rooney,Lampard or Gerrard with a six foot barge pole and it is wishful thinking on the British Press or the mentioned players part. Rooney was withdrawn because it was more than likely he would not act professionally and do things rash.

no matter who they get to replace him, bar Messi, if United sold Rooney we would overtake them. No doubt in my mind. We can laugh at his often poor international form but when it comes to club football he is among the best. I think Noel said something last year and I agreed with him that "the gap between City and United is not wide but the difference right now is Rooney".

If they lose Rooney and Ferguson in the same close season they will be at the same point Liverpool are in now.

Not forgetting the Little Pea

He is reportedly in the penultimate year of his contract- he might see Spain or Italy as an attractive option to lessen the media scrutiny of his movements in light of recent stories.

That is a serious answer but my guess he could end up at Al Hilal with Sven
