but who would take him? if he were to sign would the city fans accept him?

It's never going to happen but I don't have to like him. He'd be doing a job.

A top player no doubt, would be great in this team, but, it's not the fact he plays for the rags that bothers me, it's the fact he can't keep his f*ckin mouth shut with regards to us, shit mouthing us at every opportunity, the thought of him pulling on a City shirt makes me want to vomit.
 
For what it'd cost we could probably sign Van Persie AND Cavani (not that we need both)!
 
No ,i'd buy another world class forward instead of someone just good against the likes of Wigan and Bosnia.

I know il get stick for this but I would pay 50 million if there was a chance of getting him he is a massive **** but a truly great player.

I've heard so many time "he's world class" ......... err no he isn't, I'd love to know how anyone can come to that conclusion ??. don't get me wrong he's a good player even a great player sometimes but not world class.

The funny thing is many on here will say never but when it looked possible the other season there was a rooney love in on BM.....

Personally i think we have moved on as a team and dont need him
 
No for the simple reason like when he was supposed to be joining last year every other thread on bluemoon was about the fucker. I remeber it well I spent a pointless 30 mins bumping old threads just to get them of the page and onto page 2 but the quicker I bumped them off more threads were started it was a total rooney wankfest. It did for a hour or two test my sanity.

I think Rooney would be a great addition to the squad but we will succeed with him or without and I think he knows this now that is why it must be looking like a good option to jump of the titanic before it sinks.
 
He's got 3 years tops left in him before his lifestyle choices derail him one way or another.
