12 sounds extreme

11m is surely the limit

What are you on about? 10.75 is plenty make it happen.

Everton will surely see the logic in that deal

I was just saying to a lad at work yesterday that Everton must wish now that they had bit off our hand for the rumoured arrangement we offered.

If they go down or finish just above relegation then they will be lucky to get £15/20m for him

Every suitor will have them bent over a barrel and you know he'll agitate for a move, he is not patient or loyal enough to stay and help them get back up. He'll see his career spiralling and let his agent(s) do the talking.

They aren't in a great bargaining position after splurging £28m on Lukaku. They are in debt and as you say will be bent over sideways if they finish badly

We where in the same boat with SWP, we still got 20M I think, Barkley will cost us £30M imo

We sold him after getting relegated and him losing form?

thats my point..Barkley will cost us a hell of a lot more than 15/20 Mill

I remember Rooney being that age and there was no doubt what a player he was. Barkley has stuff to prove.

I think we may be confused with each other's points.

My point is that it is a very different situation. We hadn't just gone down and SWP was still playing well. Those two things alone will put Everton in a poor negotiation position (if it happens).
