Ross Barkley

£50m for barkley? £30m for shaw?? Wtf? Potential yes but we got silva and yaya for under £50m combined!
Times have changed. All things being equal in today's market Yaya and Silva would have gone for around 32 million.

Should go to Brazil, should start very game and if Woy doesn't then he's the biggest dickhead on the planet.
Massive overreaction. Barkely is a kid and like young players tend to do, he is brilliant one week and awful the next. Barkley has had many, many bad games this season.

Sterling and Lallana have both had better seasons than him and been more consistent.

He has world class potential and could be a star, but he is not anywhere near that yet.

Definitely felt like it was a "come and get me" performance.

odd way to try and curry favour with the opposition management by trying to beat them.

Not really ... he puts in a shit performance yesterday and Everton's prices and his agents demands seem ludicrous. He scores a goal like he did, and generally looks like Everton's best player by a country mile and everyone begins to think maybe he is worth it.

I'll be honest though and say i'm totally biased because Barkley is the one young player in the world who I think we should covet above all others.

He looks pretty special but 50m is mind blowing. I'd be happier leaving him develop under a very good manager in a decent team for another year before saddling him with a 50m pound weight around the young lads shoulders.

It's a YES from me.

Rarely have I seen a player so young display such athletic ability coupled with great technicality. His run and through-ball for Naismith was sublime whilst his goal just showed this fella has an amazing grasp of what is going on around him at any instant.

For me, even at £50m he is an absolute must have. Certainly a better buy than Pogba.

Perhaps we could try to swap him for Lescott, Barry and Rodwell and maybe £49M :-)

Both Lescott and Barry are free agents in a couple of weeks.

I know that. That was why those 2 and Roswell have a combined value of £1m. Nowt for those 2 and £1m for Rod-neverbloody-well!
