you know what everton club and fans are like, anyone who has a half decent season for them, they're rated as world class in their eyes and automatically bidding starts at £40m+.
 
If Everton had any sense they would have sold Barkley and Stones for a combined £80 million when they could.

They could have invested that on 3 top players to build around Lukaku and challenged for the top 4 instead they have opted to keep them and it looks like Lukaku will be off.

It's even more baffling when you consider Stones isn't even a miss to Everton when they have Jagielka and Funes Mori.

Having a ball playing CB when your plan A is to lump in long to Lukaku is about as much use as Bryan Riggs giving relationship advice.
 
Might as well close the thread as he's linked with the world's biggest football club.

Don't rate either of them that highly on yesterday's performance or previous performances for that matter. Why are they constantly linked with astronomical transfer values? That said Mourinho wanted Stones and was prepared to spend big before he was sacked but for me, personally Mangala is a better defender than Stones.

All the ingredients are there. His technique is first rate. Guardiola would add a lot of polish to him but I'd hate for the club to splash an exhorbitant amount at Everton, there are more ready made players for us out there and likely cheaper.
 
He had a poor game against Utd. Two struggling teams. He's done OK this season. I'm not sure about him now.
