People need to stop talking about potential with Barkley....he has had numerous oportunities at everton to show his potential. Koeman is fed up to the back teeth with him, hence why he is looking to bomb him out the club. Everton fans are split on him, those that want him to remain are seeing him as the academy lad who will come good....the other half have grown sick of his half arsed attitude and total inconsistency throughout the seasons and reluctance to improve when it was needed and being called for.

Koeman is being painted as the villian because he is a foreign manager looking to rid an english player. I wouldnt want him anywhere near our team, let the raggies get him i say.

they offered him a contract and wanted him to stay, its barkley who has pushed for the move, not Koeman.

personally think he'd be a good addition if we shift fernando and delph but certainly not at the prices being mentioned. last year of a contract and hasnt been that consistent, shouldnt higher than 25/30m for me but i read neverton wanted 50m?!

Always thought he has a serious potential as six and should be moved deeper. He'll thrive under more intelligent coach, Poch would turn him into a fantastic player. Wouldn't mind having him at City, but it seems Pep isn't interested, probably planning to get a foreign star next summer (Weigl, Goretzka).

I honestly can't see the fuss over Barkley, and as I made the unfortunate decision to live in Liverpool, I can tell you that neither can a lot of the Evertonians. If they can fuck him off to Spurs or United and sign Sigurdsson, they'll of had a cracking window. Perhaps could of done with a Giroud to give them an A*, but shifting Barkley for Sigurdsson would give them a B.

If he really had determination to find a position for himself & learn how to play it, plus put a shift in, he could be one of the best players around imo, but the lack of major interest in 'one of England's top prospects' suggests people don't trust him to do that.
