Job done. Pleased for Gundogan getting four assists and for Jesus getting a goal. No injuries and into the pot with the warm balls.

Hopefully we play a reasonably strong side against Burton and get a similar score, then we can play an EDS side in the second leg and rest everyone.

They were one of the poorest lower league teams to come here, wasnt very tight defensively, it was just so easy to open them up but you cant really expect much else, fair play to their fans for sticking with their team. Despite winning 7-0 I actually think we took it easy on them. Could have been 4-0 up before we even scored and should have been in truth. Players that needed minutes got them, players that have played a fair bit got some rest, no obvious injuries, good run out for all and I expect a similar team Wednesday and hopefully a similar result.

dont really want to be picking negatives when you win 7-0 but Mahrez just offers next to nothing in this side. Expected him to put in a performance today and show his class but we saw nothing down his flank, it was all down the left. You look at how we use our wingers and it just doesn't fit Mahrez 's game at all. He hasn't got the pace to run past people, doesn't seem to want to beat people with a bit of skill, his entire game for us is work it on to his left foot cut in and whip in a low diagonal, he's admittedly usually pretty good with it but it's nowhere near enough end product from our record signing.

Good to see kdb back, looked sharp and hungry, should get another start on wednesday with another 70-80 minutes under his belt then he should be match sharp which will hopefully enable us to manage David Silva better.

Good performance and result although we didn’t learn much as Rotherham didn’t really offer anything. Just glad they didn’t start clogging us.

Easy win against a poor side. Should have been ten or more.

Thought Gundogan, De Bruyne and Sterling were the pick of the players.

Jesus really needs to be taking some of those chances.

Great performance but I can't believe they are in the championship, they were awful. Sterling was awesome for the hour he was on so he gets my MOTM.
