What 'responsibility' did we have to perform against Kiev?

We lost our 2 centre halves in 20 mins yet kept a clean sheet in the knock-out stages of europe's biggest comp, progressing easily to the last 8.

I think everyone knew it would be a dull game, and we certainly weren't out to entertain given what happened.

I assume he doesn't watch United anymore if he's throwing comments like this around....
 
Lets get it right we were utter shite against Liverpool , Norwich and several other games this year but shut the fuck up about Kiev.

Anyone one who thinks we did anything wrong (apart for team selection) against Kiev is a Bellend. 3-1 up against a team who rarely get bet at home, who came with no belief and intent to beat us and a Derby on Sunday . What were we supposed to do . Go hell for leather kill ourselves , leave gaps at the back and give them belief . Ffs they defended we didn't have to score and tbh could have had a couple . Job done - spot on performance. Boring - yes - so what .

Maybe we should have gone out in a blaze of glory just to keep a few tossers on television happy

As he has progressed from player, to manager, to pundit, as Harold Wilson said of Tony Benn, he has grown more immature with the years! From shite, to shit to sewage farm!

Rode off into the sunset with a whimper thanks to his awful management ability. The game moved on, so should he. Had his day, hasn't got the ability to be a coach or a pundit, so sit down and shut you now Roy, you silly, irrelevant berk.
 
Well it's a bit rich coming from a Utd fan who have been playing side to side football all season... but by our standards it's hard to argue that City haven't been boring the past 3-4 games.
