There's a fairly famous photo of our well known midfield enforcer and all round hard man, Ian Bishop (in his West Ham days) holding Keane by the throat which Keane looks fairly scared and sheepish in.

Unrelated to this but it reminds me of when Cantona got hacked down by Vinny Jones. The french bully jumps up to have a go and realises who did it and stops in his tracks. Never liked Jones either but it made me laugh.

The one that has stuck with me at City was Steve McMahon. He thought he was tough but absolutely shit himself when he came up against Terry Hurlock who must have been playing for Millwall. I reckon Hurlock had had a word in his ear and McMahon stayed out of his way all match.

Superb news thought he might have been done at the end of this season and if signing maybe one year but two gives everyone connected with the club great stability moving forward. As we were all told for years you won't find success swapping and sacking managers , where's that statement these days.
