A group of Sailors from HMS Queen Elizabeth were arrested om a run ashore and two were tasered
Well at least some Naval traditions are being kept alive lol.
It seems to have come as a bit of a shock to the local police ,bar owners and the ships officers that after being at sea for a couple of weeks hundreds of sailors all decided to get rat arsed at the first port of call

Ha ha I am sat at a tikki bar on the end of a pier in Cocoa Beach waiting for a rocket to be launched into space.
Been talking to 2 English lads sat next to me for an hour and one of them just asked me what i did for work.... Told him and asked one of them what he did and he said they were both from the HMS Elizabeth! I pmsl and showed him this thread!
I said I can't believe I am sat with 2 navy lads from the ship - he replied "you are sat around way more than 2 of us.... Half of this bar is from the ship!"
He added that 30 drove down from Jacksonville in 2 minibuses to visit the Kennedy Space Centre and then stay the night in Cocoa Beach

Great to see them keeping up the grand traditions of the Navy. Remember the time they finally pulled out of Bahrain, guys jumping of the pointy end all night and in the morning the harbour was just full of tinnies.

Nothing changes.

I remember HMS Ocean being in Marseilles in the late 90's. It was absolute carnage; drunken bodies everywhere. The Shore Patrol was kept very busy that night.

Must have come as a shock to you as well Don. After all you never drank more than you could handle and stayed well clear of trouble in your days. ;-)

These sailors are tarnishing the fine reputation of the forces. They should be given a clipper round the ear.
