You told everybody that we were friends........
I dont read the training reports, so not sure if mentioned, but this guy leaves every training session with ice on his ankles.

I'm not one usually to comment on players behind the scenes, but the latest physio has said, he would never have touched him with a barge pole if he did the medical.

Scary thing he's got another 3 years, and im guessing after bonuses he clears 90k.

This guy is a serious dud. I feel embarressed.

It's a shame because when fit he is a very good player.

Yes, that is all the talk, his injuries are not going away.

Why would you spend all that money on him or anybody for that matter with his injury issues.

Great business from Blackburn.

Hughes and his backroom team were not the answer,

Is Roberto? , will he be given $200 million and 18months before a decision is made?

If we were to speculate. there could be lots of reasons, I suppose this is why managers arent just managers anymore they are a unit, Hughes had faith in the physio to pass him, Did Hughes do it to prove he can have who he wants? i dont think we will ever find out, but i cant see the people at the club now settling for him.

Totally agree, managers are not just managers they have and demand many support staff, who often move as a team from club to club.
Perhaps herein lies one of the major issues with Hughes which led to him being replaced.

They reckon RSC and Lescott eased hughes sacking, but i think Lescott can become a ledgend here.

There is definately more to the Hughes sacking as many have stated, and the quality around him was a factor I`m sure, plus as you have said he may have flexed his muscles and backed the wrong player to show how good his judgement was.

Lescott is young enough and good enough when he stays fit to be a fixture in our side for years to come, a lot to be positive about.

In my opinion signing this clown was the worst piece of business city have ever conducted. This is including Samaras - £6m, Bradbury - £3.5m, Vuoso - £5.75m (ish).

It's a shame because when fit he is a very good player.

Normally has a dead touch and a decent finish, is there or thereabouts, see goal at The Cottage, but last night he was like one of those flippers on a pinball machine. Didn't matter where the ball touched, foot, chest, head, it just pinged off to an EFC man.

Wasnt really regarding his performances to be honest, bar last night i've been satisfied with his performances, just stating that after training he has to have ice on his ankles.

How do you know that? Why would he stay out for extra training sometimes if that is the case?

Hughes was the manager when that deal was done as well!

The RSC deal is the worst bit of trasnfer business this club has ever done in its long history of bad signings.

A £40m investment for a player who may not play 40 games for us.

He was not fit when he signed, they knew he wouldn't be available for at least another 4 months, so why do the deal? Why not tell Blackburn to wait till the January window to prove his fitnes?

If Hughes got sacked for just one thing it was this deal. It speaks volumes about the way Hughes was running the club at the time.
