Turning out to be a bad signing this one. Very disappointing.

Thats not his fault though, he's been very unlucky

Yes he has been unlucky but Hughes/City have been stupid. Should never have been signed while he had a bad injury, if you sign a player and in his 1st match does his cruciate or breaks his leg then that is just unfortunate and nothing can be done however to sign a guy who is currently injured, been out for months and who on top of this has a history of bad injuries is a massive error of judgement!

Hughes will receive a handsome compensation package for his dismissal, he should be handing most of it back to compensate the club for his pursuit and ultimate capture of the invalid that is RSC!

I feel for the guy but we should have never bought him in the first place. He went from Bayern Munich to Blackburn because they knew he had long-term injury problems.
MH's let loyalty and RSC's ability blind him from the fact he's damaged goods.
It's a shame because I genuinely believe he's a quality player.

Total agree, it was a shocking signing.

I too think RSC is a quality player and I was glad when we got him. But unfortunately his injury record is not getting better - it appears to be getting worse.

Pretty much my sentiments as well. Hughes dogged pursuit of RSC resulted in an over-inflated transfer fee, better wages than at Blackburn, and more time out injured since joining us. Wouldn't have minded so much if we'd only paid a few mill but Hughes thought he'd be good for us, so who am I to nit-pick ?

He's good when he's fit, but we haven't seen the best of him yet...

He could come back after the calf strain, and be available until the end of the season. Let's hope that happens.

and honestly do you think that will happen? The logic behind buying him for many fans was for him to cover for Ade while he was away and it seems that that will have covered around 15mins of the matches he was away.

I think Adebayor needs to make himself available for tomorrow!

Cant help but agree - he was prepared to go back to play in the ACON sweats and all - we are potentially in the shit payinh him 160 gib uns a week a nd he is unfit to play for what appears to be a good deal of time.

For me sounds harsh but i am begining to think that the arse fans were correct
