Who cares what we pay? money is no object.

the issue is whether he will improve us, not what he costs

You really are stupid if you think that money is no object. Eventually the Arabs will say "enough is enough" and we will have to become profitable to survive...or else we will become another Leeds.

Hes exactly what we need, last season he wasnt great but his body language said he didnt want to be at blackburn.

His performance at Old Trafford last year was one of the best i saw by a centre forward all season (I was working at the swamp and watched the game)

Hes much much better than what weve got

Its this kind of "nu-city fan" mentality thats gonna drive people away from this forum and eventually away from the club

The day were dissapointed about signing a player of RSC quality is the day i give up.

"Yeah but hes not eto/messi"

10 years ago we were watching bob taylor,Get a grip FFS

Theres every chance we could finish 5th next year and people off here will still be unhappy.

Here here, people need to get a reality check and realise we're not yet attractive enough to all players and stop talking crap and sounding like rags.

My only concern is the injury prone side to him, could prove to be another Bellamy, however, if he can stay fit and healthy then I think he would certainly add something to our squad. The amount of headed goals we scored last year was quite frankly pitiful and he would certainly provide that option (just thinking back to when he singlehandly destroyed our 100% home record last season)

He may not have the allure or glamour of Messers Tevez or Eto'o, but until I see them being presented to the media then I won't believe they are coming.

Think this is another natural progression which, along with the signing of Barry, improves on the squad that Hughes is starting to shape

I think we have moved on probably more than any other club in the world in the last 10 years-FACT,and players are now queueing up to want to come to us,obviously for the money.
