Can't believe Santa Cruz is injured again, can't have been playing football, when does he do that?

Coming back from quite a long term injury, it's extremely common to pick up the odd minor strain or tweak.

Shame he had to pick up that calf strain, now is his chance to try and cement his place in the team with Ade being away on African cup duty.

Thought he was brilliant against sunderland and was hoping it would be the start of a nice run in the side for him

i heard that hes had a piece on floating bone removed from his knee,that was causing a slight problem and it was too sore to play yesterday ,prob bull shit but thats what ive heard

Santa is just being rested after delivering all those prezzies.

Blackburn messed him about at the end of his time there because they knew they wouldnt be keeping him. Overplayed and trained him hence we got him with an injury worse than it should have been. He had been given plenty of time to get back to full fitness and gradually gained match fitness. Maybe now the extra training has taken it's toll if we believe that he had a calf strain?
