Definitely. And I get that people want to talk and share opinions, but there has to be more common sense when it comes to digesting things from the media/Twitter. Everything has to be taken with a grain of salt. Not only does the media have an incentive to feed false rumors, Txiki and company do as well.

Real Benfica fans (the ones posting on their forum, not the Twitter ones) are truly pissed off. Ruben is lauded as the next Benfica's/Portuguese NT captain.

He's a bit of an hothead but shows great leadership at the age of 23. It will be a good sign if it goes forward.

anyone saying Benfica fans are okay with this are trolling, one of my best mates is a life long Benfica fan and has only said positive things about Dias (he does admit that he can be error prone sometimes). If anything he is mad at the board and claims the president is highly corrupt and could well be doing this deal because it has a high % of commission in for him due to his relationship with Jorge Mendes. He is also at disbelief that a Porto fan in Otamendi would be coming to Benfica, as the two are fierce rivals, could also be Mendes trick to hurry up Porto and push them to get a deal done.

The club will have a list of targets and if Kk and Kounde is not possible we move on to a club(benfica ) who will accept the price we want to pay.

These sort of stories are driven by the policy of City of just not talking to the press. I understand that, just look at the lies told after CAS, but it generates huge speculation, fans falling out about what is or isn’t a good deal etc. On this rumour, surely after Mangala, Garcia, Fernando, etc. we must be wary with Portuguese league players, it is a technical league utterly different to the PL.
