Rudd quits

Good to see that Teresa is overruling ministers and demanding the immigration cap is used to stop qualified doctors coming over to work in the U.K. Whatever people voted for in any referendum I thought we were going to be letting in the people we really needed? As someone who works in the NHS I can tell you the levels of staffing in key areas of hospitals is absolutely frightening. I know of some very famous teaching hospitals that can’t get anything like enough docs so what it must be like for your average DGH, I can’t imagine. What I can say is that you might be as well not getting sick for a while, as there really is a catastrophe on the horizon which, with the current governmental intransigence, is almost unsolvable.

Isn't that what they want? So we get that sick (excuse the pun) of the situation we welcome full privatisation?

Having seen that system in action in the states, it’d be a total disaster. It’s why I get pissed of with Corbyn and co. Not because I don’t agree with a lot of their sentiment, but because they should be 25 points in front of this shower and they’re behind. Sadly that means a Tory government until 2026 (most likely 2031) and it’s not a prospect that fills me with delight.

They don't need the NHS mate as they can easily afford private health care or get it with their jobs.

Don't expect any sympathy from Tories. Labour are no better.
