What were Salford playing at in that set? They were in great field position!

I wouldn’t be too down hearted though. If Salford can keep hold of Ian Watson and his coaching staff, and keep signing well, these two finals in the last two seasons might not be their only ones.

Fckin cheat ref..
Never a incorrect play the ball by Pauli Pauli. Been doing it all the match

I thought the ref was straining to find penalties and knocks on that weren’t there. There were a couple of called against Donaldson for Leeds thst I could t see and Salford were on the harsh end of a couple of decisions late on.

That said, overall the ref had a decent game and got the vast majority of the call right.

Great effort from Salford in the second half. They just list a bit of composure in the last 15 minutes. Leeds played the first 40 well but were second rate in the 2nd half and were a bit lucky to get the win.

The pen against Pauli Pauli harsh. Leeds then did the exact same thing in the next set and never pulled up. Gutted but a great game.
