Rugby League thread

Surprised about prize money - I'd not really thought about it though. I guess in Cunningham's era it was even more so.
My info was from an article I remember reading a few years back in one of the years when Wire got to both the CCfinal and the GF, so might be a bit out of date with that info. I do know that they doubled the LLS prize money about four years ago and maybe they amended the GF prize money with that.

NRL Grand Final tomorrow, really looking forward it!

Definitely the two best teams this year. I have fancied Penrith for months, they’ve looked brilliant this season. but this week the experience of Melbourne has made me think twice. Hard one to call.

Fans in the stadium for a big game like this will easily make it the top sporting event of 2020 for me!

I've only been there for a youth cup match, but Craven Cottage I agree on. Spurs I can walk home from if I'm keen.

You live in the Wood Green area?

I live near to Cockfosters Tube so Arsenal and Spurs don't take long at all.

The Emirates is a cracking stadium. Been there several times and Arsenal match-going fans are sound, in my opinion.

I think the Rhinos are a bit too nice so Longy might put a bit more fire in the players’ bellies as well sharing his expertise.

I was out honking yesterday but I kept an eye on the score and tries on Twitter. I thought it was a bit harsh on Penrith having the try for obstruction disallowed before half time and then they changed their arm that led to Melbourne’s interception try. Still Melbourne won and have been a great side.

I don’t like the way Melbourne play and never want them to win, most things wrong with the modern game stems from that club. I thought the new SIX AGAIN rules would hinder them but when the refs don’t penalise them for all the messing around in the ruck (like yesterday), there’s not much hope.

But I can’t deny that they’re a great team.

Wire looked rusty (that was only the third game in the last 5 weeks and the first for 3). But in patches looked great.

Saints v Wigan is good so far.
