151 had cake recipes on the back of the bottle it was so strong.. the regular stuff was great anyway

On the back of you two's recommendation, I tried the Havana Club 7 and have to say I cannot distinguish it from Bacardi

Barcardi is good for brushes ; as for Havana it should be drunk neat with no ice

Savanna la Mar, Jamaica 1972. Bottle of Appletons Estate, 4 cokes and a bucket of ice cost 10 shillings (50p).

Not quite sure if we had a second round.

Goslings Black Seal 151, ginger beer, slice of lime... the best.

I only started drinking it whilst in Bermuda and I think it's wonderful stuff!

Out on Caye Caulker it was more for the coke than the Appletons.... mental

We drank a bar dry one night and the only mixer left was American Cream Soda... the bar owner said "I'll go get some more drinks as long as you don't wreck my bar"... we were Crabs not Grunts...

I was out there for the 10-1.... listened on the World Service.... I was MTSS (SAC then) ... There was a Heavy (GEF) called Gary Lee and at least two Stackers... Airport Camp was full of blues that's for sure...

Bought a 10 year bottle of Don Papa the other week and probably one of the nicest Rums I've had.

that's how I distinguish it from each other.

Just had another go at Havana Seven and I'm really not impressed
