Running thread

Anyone had vaccine yet (sorry if I missed it earlier in thread). Getting mine on Sunday and wondered if anyone had it and they didn't run for few days after it. Know few had vaccine and had various minor side effects such as headaches, tiredness, sore arm but none are runners. Cheers

Had the vaccine and ran the same night nothing but a sore arm for two days.

7 miler today at a nice slow pace through a country park. A few dog walkers, runners but besides that just the trees, trails and sunshine. Fantastic being on my own.

Managed a half marathon earlier. Not sure why I went that far. Had just chucked a maccas down me so guilt probably! Last 4km was excrutiating. Head wind that made every step a battle and I couldn't stop checking the distance on my watch in the hope 4km only took a few seconds.

Battled through though with the assistance of a tail wind in the final 1km and a decent song on the playlist!

Nice work! Good music does make a difference during the hard miles, doesn't it? And these winds make running a whole different, er, ball game!
