Totally agree. You have to be very careful what you say so I will be circumspect in my comments and not refer to any religions in particular.
But I think it's outrageous how kids are indoctrinated from birth in this hocus-pocus, such that they believe it deeply and profoundly and waste their lives following nonsense and then inflicting the same on their kids.
That is not to say that some of the concepts of love thigh neighbour etc are not decent principles, but wasting your entire life going to prayers and other stuff? At the very best, I conclude that religion is a complete waste of time, at best. But of course it's far more damaging than that when you consider the endless conflicts, misery and loss of lives in the name of mumbo jumbo.
We all need a moral compass however we do not need religion in any form to develop one.
