Would love that to be true but I don't think the west is brave enough to get involved.
I don't think it's a case of bravery Keeper, it's more containment of the situation.
The whole conflict has to be kept manageable and putting boots on the ground and no fly zones into effect, would only cause an escalation.
It's possible that Special Forces are there now on surveillance missions or 'advice', but they can't be caught representing NATO. That would be a real plus for Putin.
He's already threatened Nuclear weapons, which to a certain extent has been treated as a bluff, but not by any means discarded.
Some complain that not enough is being done, but I'd suggest a lot is. There would be military and government channels and communications open between the west and Russia and the west (and much of the rest of the world) are doing a lot to support and assist Ukraine in many ways.
What we don't need are emotional kneejerk reactions, especially based on speculation. This whole conflict, war, call it what you will, is sitting on a bit of a knife edge and there are many important decisions being made by people hoping they are making the right ones.
As I've said before, I think Putin has miscalculated and expected the Ukrainians to put up very little resistance, along with the west faffing around as per usual, but that certainly hasn't been the case following his invasion.
Now he's under pressure with more limited options, so the decision makers have to get it right, regardless of the rising casualties and how awful the footage is. Something easier said than done.
