Russian invasion of Ukraine

You wish the U.K. was neutral against Nazism? And you wish the U.K. was doing fuck all to help Ukraine against Russia? I’d call you a twat but I’m actually fond of twats.
Take a step back.
I am simply talking about an ideal world. The UK is always the aggressor and we are the puppet of the U.S. Which other country went as heavy as we did into Afghanistan or the Middle east. We start wars.
The UK should take its lead from Nato not the Americans.

His army has left him in shit street and that's a huge worry, he won't accept defeat, let's hope the negotiations succeed, reading between the lines both parties are talking and making progress.
We all hope negotiations bring this to a speedy conclusion, but for me, Ukraine hold the upper hand and they should be in the driving seat to get what they want from this, noting that this is an ideal situation for them to recover previously stolen land.

Is there any evidence that the "Russian" people in E. Ukraine would welcome becoming part of Putin's Russia?
The regions core population was about 4.5m of which 3m speak Russian, of those 3m around 2.8 are bilingual. There’s a loud vocal minority that are pro Russian.
When Putin send the tanks rolling the fact it was an easy land grab of some of some the most commodity rich land in the world was way above any protection of Russian language bullshit he’s peddled since.
It’s pretty unlikely that bombing the fuck out every town in the region has really swayed the silent majority of Ukrainians over to being pro Russian since the invasion.

Watched a harrowing video yesterday of a Russian tank and its crew being systematically taken to pieces by a drone. Two things dawned on me: firstly, the century of the tank has ended, and, secondly, the slight ‘keyboard warrior’ is equally obsolete.
They thought the tank was dead in 1973. They were wrong.
As always you need combined arms to work together to win. It has been conspicuously absent in the Russian assault.
With working anti drone drone and Trophy anti missile systems (or similar) the tank still has some life in it.
Even in WW2 the tank was a sitting duck without infantry support.

We'll have to wait and see. It will certainly be interesting to see how much countries invest in new armour on the back of this.

The SAM systems the US are sending to Ukraine will effectively create a no fly zone so that’s no longer an issue.

Secondly we are on day 22, didn’t you say that Ukraine wouldn’t last ten days?
The SAM system is what Ukraine are gonna need.
Pretty sure they are about to hit a "Rasputitsa".
Once this hits,it won't really be viable for Russia going over land.
Air will be Russia's main focus,IMO.
Good shout with the SAM systems.
