Yeah,Zelensky knows Putin will not give Crimea up,thats why he said it.If that's what he has said after 6 months of conflict then it appears Ukraine knows its in a position of strength.
It would be the end for Putin after sending over 43k troops to their graves,and come out of it with less than they had.
Zelensky wants to humiliate Putin and Russia,IMO.
And Ukraine will still take Crimea.
